Rental Policy

Please read all of our policies before booking a stay at the Pine Chalet. Your booking a stay is acknowledging and agreement to all the rules and rental policies.

Check-in time: 4:00 PM Check-out Time: 11:00 AM

Late check-out and early check-in times must be approved prior to your stay.
Additional hourly charges may apply.

Cancellation Policy:

Early cancellations shall be charged $75.00 or 5 percent of the reservation (whichever is greater).
Cancellations between 7 - 14 days will receive a refund of 50 percent.
Cancellations less than 7 days will received a refund of 25 percent.
No shows will not receive a refund.

You must have a credit card to make a reservation.

Your credit card will be billed for your stay at the time of your reservation. Initial deposit of 50 percent at time of booking and final payment within 24 hours of your arrival.
A $500 damage deposit will be applied to your credit card, and canceled approximately seven days from your departure. We now offer $39.00 property damage protection policy.

You must be over 25 years of age to make a reservation.

MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS 6 PERSONS. Intentional misrepresentation of number of guests will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
Use only the number of bedrooms you need to avoid additional charges of $40 per day/per bedroom
The Pine Chalet is designed for couples and small families who want to enjoy a quiet getaway.
If you intend to party hearty, this is NOT the place for you. Any misrepresentation of intent will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
Pine Chalet management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Smoking is expressly prohibited in the Pine Chalet.

A $250 fumigation fee will be charged to those who smoke inside the Pine Chalet.

Recycling is required at the Pine Chalet.

A $50 fee will be charged to those who do not recycle bottles and cans.

There is no daily maid service.

Linens and bath towels are included in the Pine Chalet.
Periodic laundering is the responsibility of the guests. There are laundry facilities on premises.

We do not charge extra for pet stays (Limit 2).

Pets must be well-behaved and trained.
Be sure to bring ample flea and tick protection for your pets at all times.
Unattended pets must be crated or kenneled. There is a 6x6 kennel provided in the lower level.
Additional cleaning fee of $25.00 will apply if you do not pick up after your pets, both inside and out.

If something should be amiss with the Pine Chalet upon arrival, please notify management at that time.

All issues will be handled promptly.
Complaints will not be addressed after the fact (upon your arrival home).

The Pine Chalet provides firewood from October to March.

Firewood is for the interior wood burning fireplace and outdoor potbelly stoves only.
Fires must not be left unattended.

Please remember you are coming to the country...bring sunscreen, bug repellant, etc., depending on the season.

Please be aware there are some critters around that can be bothersome and even dangerous, including wasps, ticks, spiders, skunks & snakes.
Do carefully watch your pets and small children near the woods.

Please respect Pine Chalet and neighboring property boundaries.

Trespassing is not tolerated, and could result in fines levied by the local authorities.
Check with the management if you are uncertain of the property boundaries.
